On September 2, 2025, the 16th death anniversary of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and popular leader Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy was observed at the YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya, YSR district. Former Chief Minister and YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, along with his family members, paid rich tributes to the late leader.

The YSR family, including Y.S. Vijayamma, Y.S. Bharathi, and other close relatives, participated in special prayers conducted by religious leaders. They remembered Rajasekhara Reddy as a champion of welfare and architect of development, honoring his contributions to the people of Andhra Pradesh.

Several public representatives, former legislators, senior leaders of the YSR Congress Party, party workers, and admirers also offered floral tributes at the YSR Ghat. The atmosphere was filled with respect and remembrance as people recalled the late leader’s welfare schemes and development-oriented governance that left a lasting impact on the state.
