NITI Aayog Chief Executive Officer B.V.R. Subrahmanyam visited the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam atop Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada on Thursday and offered prayers to the presiding deity. He was accompanied by NTR District Collector S. Lakshmi Sha during the visit. The temple administration, led by the Executive Officer and Special Grade Deputy Collector Sreenan Naik, made elaborate arrangements to facilitate the smooth conduct of the darshan.

During the visit, Subrahmanyam performed special rituals and offered prayers at the temple. After the darshan, Vedic scholars bestowed traditional blessings upon him. Temple officials honored the NITI Aayog CEO with sacred temple attire, presented a photograph of the deity, and offered prasadam as a mark of reverence.
