On Monday night, the opening day of the annual Karthika Brahmotsavams at Tiruchanur, Goddess Sri Padmavathi Devi blessed devotees in the divine Param Vasudeva Alankaram while gracefully riding on the Chinna Sesha Vahanam. As the first vahana of the Brahmotsavams, the Chinna Sesha Vahanam signifies the cosmic serpent on whom the universe rests, symbolizing protection and spiritual elevation. Devotees believe that the darshan of the Goddess on this sacred vahanam grants Yoga Siddhi and uplifts all living beings.
During the procession, Sri Padmavathi Devi appeared as the universal mother safeguarding creation, bringing auspiciousness and wellbeing to her devotees. The event was attended by Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, JEO Sri V. Veerabrahmam, CV&SO Sri K.V. Muralikrishna, Deputy EO Sri Harindranath, temple archakas including Sri Babuswami, officials, and a large number of devotees who witnessed the divine spectacle.
